Third meeting of the Monitoring Committee under the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria - North Macedonia Programme 2021-2027 was held in Sofia

On 13^th of November  2023, the 3^rd meeting of the Monitoring Committee under the Interreg VI-A  IPA Bulgaria - North Macedonia Programme 2021-2027 was held in Sofia. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Angelina Boneva, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and co-chaired by Mr. Vulnet Arifi, Head of the Department for EU Programs in the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of North Macedonia. Mrs. Gabi Hagmuller, representative of the European Commission, addressed the audience. 

During the meeting, the members of the Monitoring Committee reviewed the progress in the implementation of the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme for the 2014-2020 programming period. The results of the impact assessment of the Program were presented. In the meeting also discussed the indicative annual work program for 2024 of the Interreg VI-A  IPA Bulgaria - North Macedonia Programme 2021-2027, the evaluation plan, and the evaluation report of Step 2 Verification of administrative compliance and eligibility of the open call for investment projects from the "Greener border region" priority.
