At a working meeting in Blagoevgrad, the progress in the construction of the Border Cross Check Point was discussed

A public tender is about to be announced for the selection of a contractor for a complex environmental procedure for the project for the construction of the Border Cross Check Point "Strumiani - Berovo" and for the completion of the road to it. For this purpose, an agreement was signed in May between the Blagoevgrad Regional Administration, which is the beneficiary of the project for the construction of the Border Cross Check Point, and the Road Infrastructure Agency, which will be the contractor for the construction of the road.

Successful Online Training Session implementation of projects under Priority 1 "Greener Border Region" Projects

On 11 July 2024, an online training session was conducted for beneficiaries involved in the implementation of projects under Priority 1 "Greener Border Region." No 2021TC16IPCB006 – 2024-4)

Contracts signed for projects worth 4.1 million euros under Priority 1 "Greener border region"

On 01.07.2024, the contracts for the five approved project proposals from Priority 1 "Greener border region" of the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia Programme were signed at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Sofia, with a total value of 4.1 million euros.

The approved projects under Priority 1 also received the green light from the Regional Council for the Development of the Southwest Region

The Regional Council for the Development of the Southwest Planning Region issued letters of support to the Bulgarian partners in the five approved project proposals under Priority 1 "Greener Border Region" of the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia Programme. The letters express the positive opinion that the planned activities will have a significant effect on socio-economic development, which will improve the well-being of the residents of the region and provide more places for recreation in urban spaces.
