Restricted Call for Governance Project Proposal under Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia Programme 2021-2027

Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria (Managing Authority)

in cooperation with Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of North Macedonia (National Authority) of the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria - North Macedonia 2021-2027 Programme announced on the 02.07.2024 the Restricted Call for Governance project proposal under Priority 3 “Integrated development of the cross-border region” (ref. No 2021TC16IPCB006 – 2024-4). 

The activities of the Governance project proposal are related to a better management of the Territorial Strategy by the Strategy Board, developed for the implementation of Priority 3 and are related to conducting SB meetings, measures for the enhancement the capacity of the SB and Operational unit members, organization of events related to the implementation of the TS, measures related to monitor the implementation of the TS, delivery of equipment for facilitation of the work of the SB and Operational unit, support of the SB in the process of identifications of the project proposals contributing to the TS.

The total amount allocated to the Restricted Call for Governance project proposal is € 410 944.

The eligible Programme area is:

• For Republic of Bulgaria (administrative level NUTS III) – districts of Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad;

• For Republic of North Macedonia (administrative level, NUTS III equivalent) – North-East planning region, East planning region and South-East planning region.

Pre-defined applicants under the current call are:

• Territorial Cooperation Management Directorate at Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria; 

• Ministry of Local-Self Government of the Republic of North Macedonia;

The deadline for submission of project proposal in Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) is 02 September 2024, 23:59 h. local time in Bulgaria (EET).
