Project summary: | The project "Integrated crossborder tourism actions in Blagoevgrad-Delchevo region" will provide: Project investment activities in Municipality of Blagoevgrad include: The renovation and expansion of the Observatory building in Blagoevgrad and its transformation into a Digital Planetarium, internal renovation, equipment of a lecture hall and exhibition spaces with a ramp and an external panoramic elevator will be built. A water attraction will also be created - a star disc made of black granite with images of the zodiac - a planetarium. An observation deck "Starry Sky" will be set up on the open terrace. Small amphitheater will be built for outdoor events. An eco-educational pedestrian alley will connect the Observatory building and the Blagoevgrad Zoo. Project investment activities in Municipality of Delchevo include: Construction of a sports field for skating - Skate Park and regulation of the Bregalnica River in that part of the city in a length of 300 meters. By regulating the bed of the river Bregalnica, the area around the river will be arranged, which the citizens will be able to use for various purposes. Project soft activities: Trainings in Delchevo and Blagoevgrad, Instagram tours, International Tourist Forum in Blagoevgrad, Development of marketing strategy for popularization of the tourist product, Creation of logo and slogan of the region, Concept for Tourist Product for Blagoevgrad-Delchevo Region, Digital map and digital tourist packages. Under the project will be implemented the following: Reconstruction and expansion of Observatory in Blagoevgrad, Construction of a skate park and Regulation of the Bregalnica river bed 300 meters in Delchevo, Marketing strategy for popularization of the tourist product, Logo and slogan of the region, Concept for Tourist Product for Blagoevgrad-Delchevo Region, Digital map, 2-day and 3-day tourist packages.
