Beneficiaries from the Bulgaria-Türkiye, Bulgaria-Serbia and Bulgaria-North Macedonia programme completed specialised online trainings dedicated to communication and visibility measures. The initiative aimed to strengthen their capacity to communicate project implementation effectively and in line with EU requirements. It provided a comprehensive overview of regulatory framework, the rules for application of different visual elements, the architecture of communication activities and practical examples.
Participants received guidance on how to make the most of the various communication channels. Websites and social media were highlighted as essential tools, with recommendations to publish up-to-date information in non-technical language. Media outreach, including press releases and online publications, was presented as another effective way to increase public engagement.
During the Q&A session beneficiaries had the opportunity to clarify rules on using official logos, disclaimers, billboards, publications and strengthening the exchange of information with JS. The new Visual Identity Manual was also introduced as the main handbook on communication of the three Interreg programmes for the current period.
